Dr. George B. Bailey Jr., Candidate for the President of the United States, 2008

  1. English; the chosen language for the United States of America.

Speaking and writing English in the United States of America will greatly assist newly legal immigrants to assimilate into society.

English spoken environment reduces confusion, frustration, alienation, elitism, aversion, biases, prejudices, strife, and hatred, tension between teachers, student, parents and administration. Historical evidence reveals that when more then one language is spoken in an environment it produces gangs, domestic violence, anger management, emotional and physical abuse, depression, oppression, low self-esteem, high school drop-outs, high teenage pregnancies, criminal activities, incarceration, drug and alcohol abuse, and deaths.

English as United States of America’s chosen and spoken language will enhance:

                  • getting a good education; the curriculum is delivered more effectively by the instruction to the students communicated in English only, instead of a bilingual environment
                  • buying a home
                  • owning a business
                  • communication verbally and orally
                  • establishing new friendships and business relations
                  • family members actively participating in the American way of life; instead of being alienated because of language barriers
                  • United States citizens will not have to pay trillion of tax dollars to provide duplicity in English and language of immigrant country origin to access social services, banking, employment and all other needs that enable one to function comfortably in a society.
                  • Understanding our laws and regulations
                  • Navigating and negotiation
                  • Earning the right to be respected as a legal resident in America
                  • Developing pride to be an American
                  • Learn the history of the United States of America
                  • Respect our flag as one of our noble symbols
                  • Invest in our way of life ( join military for example)
                  • Teach the American tradition to family, and encourage them to embrace our way of life
                  • Become visible in your loyalty to the United States of America, your patriotism speaks volumes about your sincere motives be an American citizen
                  • Sponsor and tutor others in the traditions of America
                  • Support our men and women in the military
                  • Security for local, state, and national emergencies

Solidarity!! all major nations have their language of choice why shouldn’t the United States of America?

  2. No Amnesty! now, henceforth and forevermore

We are a sovereign nation and have the right and responsibility to protect our borders for the security of our citizens and our way of life. It is ill-responsible and tantamount to being a criminal act for our elected officials to find loop holes and clever legislations to permit illegal or undocumented individuals from other countries to be given a free ride on the back of tax payers.

In 1986, Senator Edward Kennedy led a delegation against President Ronald Reagan that eventually led to amnesty for six million illegal immigrants. Not 15 years later, Senator Edward Kennedy is maneuvering his “mo jo” again to give amnesty to 25 million illega limmigrants. Senator Allen Simpson had already sponsored a bill to regulate legal immigration into this country. What is necessary is to enforce that bill as it was written in its original form. This issue should be dealt with legally once and for all. Then, this nation can be properly protected from illegal immigration. Thus, the United States can use its energy to resolve other pressing problems.

Time is long past due to work out an arrangement that will ease tension between the United States of America and Cuba. The Cuban exiles have suffered long enough; there has to be a way to normalize relations with Cuba for the sakes of the Cubans and for America without compromising our national interest.

China is a communist nation and we have a multi-billion dollar trade with them annually, yet we are aware China is a great violator of human rights.

Russia is a communist nation, and we have been a trading partner with them for many years. We are presently working with Russia in space exploratory. Yet we are also aware they are violator of human rights.

We do business with many countries who do not embrace our moral values, but it has not stopped us from being trading partners.
